Weimeraners are bold and study
dogs. Built for work, they are energetic and diligent. Adults and children fall
in love with their jolliness and overall cheerful attitude. Their willingness to please their owner makes
training easy, providing enough mental stimulation is given. They enjoy
learning new tricks and the praise that follows. The Weimeraner desires to be a
part of the family. They want the love, attention, and affection that they so
willingly give out. Be careful, Weimeraners should not be allowed to control the
household; given the opportunity they might try.
Their coat is short, making
grooming a breeze. They come in a variety
of grey shades, from light grey to a blue grey called “blue”.
They grow to be 55 to 85 pounds.
The males tend to be larger than the females. The life expectancy is 10 to 12
years.
