Poodle Puppies for Sale

It is no wonder that recent trends
have breeders mixing this lovable and trainable breed to create hybrids or “poodle
mixes”. It seems every hybrid has a “poo” attached to the end of it. This is
because every pet owner desires this breed's friendly, intelligent, and cheerful
characteristics. They are surprisingly
delightful and infectious to be around. It is hard to be in a bad mood around a
cheerful poodle.
Poodles are also considered
hypoallergenic and will have little to no shedding. Their "show" coat is difficult to maintain
and takes extensive grooming and brushing. This grooming maintenance can be
reduced greatly by simply keeping the dog in a shorter “puppy cut” coat. A puppy cut requires less
brushing, but does need to be trimmed on a regular bases. Most pet owners keep
their pet in a shorter puppy-like coat; it is unusual to see a pet which is groomed for show.
Apartment living is okay for this
breed providing sufficient exercise is given. Short walks will suffice.
The poodles we have here are “toy”
unless stated otherwise. Their expected weight is to between 4 to 10 pounds.
All poodles are considered one breed but depending on size are labeled
differently. These labels are based upon height at the withers. Adult weight for each of the three categories are Toy (4 to 11 pounds), Miniature (11 to 25 pounds), and Standard (45 to 70 pounds). "Teacup" is a descriptive name for the smallest of the toys; there is no such recognized category for shows, etc.
The breed’s average life span is
between 12 to 15 years.
